During the first day of your 5 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech, our driver will meet you at the airport or port in Tangier to welcome you and accompany you in a private vehicle. We will then drive you to the village of Tetouan. Tetouan is a Moroccan city recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its beautiful old town and white buildings, known as the White Dove City. The city has Spanish influences, as it was the capital of the Spanish Protectorate of Morocco in the 20th century. The next stop on your journey after exploring Tetouan is Chaouen, sometimes called Chefchaouen. Chaouen, the Blue City in Morocco, is a popular tourist destination famous for its blue-toned medina in the Rif Mountains. Overnight stay in Riad near Uta el-Hammam square.
We’ll begin the day with a tasty breakfast at the riad in Chaouen. We’ll then head to Fes, passing through the gorgeous Rif mountains and forests Along the way. Once we arrive in Fes, a local guide will take you on a walking tour of the medina’s historic center. You’ll get to visit important landmarks like the Karaouine Mosque and University, which is one of the oldest in the world, as well as the Bou Inania and Cherratine Madrasahs, the Mausoleum of Moulay Idris, the Tanners’ Quarter, and the Mellah (Jewish quarter) or the Royal Palace, featuring the impressive Golden Gates. Finally, we’ll spend the night at the riad.
We will begin our journey to the Sahara Desert today, leaving Fes after breakfast. Our first stop will be Ifrane, known as the “Moroccan Switzerland” due to its mountainous setting and Alpine-style architecture. We’ll visit Cedar Forest and meet Barbary macaques there. We will stop for lunch and take pictures. Next, we will drive through the Ziz Valley, the Oasis of palm groves. Our next destination is Erfoud, a town famous for its dinosaur fossils.
Finally, we’ll arrive at Merzouga, the southernmost point of our trip. In Merzouga, we’ll switch to dromedaries to explore the Erg Chebbi dunes and see a fascinating sunset. After a two-hour ride, we’ll arrive at our luxury camp in the desert, where we’ll have Berber tea and dinner. We will end our day with music and dance around the fire, enjoying the starry desert sky for a magical night in the Sahara.
On the fourth day, we will wake up early in the desert to see the sunrise, and after breakfast, we’ll ride camels to Merzouga. After that, we will leave the Erg Chebbi dunes and visit Rissani’s medina. This small city is known as the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty and the first imperial city of Morocco. We’ll explore its vibrant streets and then drive through various communities, including the Dades Valley, the Valley of the Roses, Thousand Kasbahs Road, and Todra Gorges. The Todra Gorges, a stunning canyon, is popular with climbers and travelers. We will take a break for lunch and snap some pictures before continuing to our final destination, Ouarzazate. Finally, we will stay overnight in the city of Ouarzazate.
After having breakfast, we will drive to our first destination, the Kasbah of Taourirt in Ouarzazate. The Kasbah still retains much of its original interior decorations. Following that, we will visit the famous film studios of Ouarzazate, often referred to as the Hollywood of Morocco. After that, we will head to the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village famous among Game of Thrones fans for its appearance in the third season.
This village was once a stop for caravan routes connecting Marrakech and Timbuktu and is now a World Heritage Site. We will stop here for lunch and take some photos. After that, we’ll drive through the High Atlas, which has an altitude of 2,260 meters. We will have the opportunity to see beautiful Berber villages. We will have the chance to see beautiful Berber villages. Finally, We will drop you off at either the airport or your accommodation in Marrakech, marking the end of the tour.

These meals feature authentic Moroccan cuisine, giving participants a taste of the local flavors and culinary traditions. Please note that lunches are not included in the tour package, allowing you to explore nearby dining options during the day.
